Istanbul is considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, and it is characterized as one of the most popular places for tourism globally, besides it is considered one of the most important historical and archeological places due to its long history that extends approximately 2000 years BC , and one of the most important historical and tourist places in Istanbul Topkapi Palace, which is one of The most important and beautiful tourist attractions in Istanbul, and one of the largest palaces in the city of Istanbul, it was the center of the residence of the Ottoman Sultans which spanned four centuries from 1470 to 1856 over the rule of the Ottoman Empire until Sultan Abd al-Hamid II ordered  to build the Dolmabahce Palace and turned it into an archaeological museum showing the holdings and treasures of the Ottoman and Islamic states.

Sultan Mehmed AL-Fatih  ordered to build Topkapi Palace, which it called Yeni Saray, with an area of ​​about 500,000 square meters. It is one of the oldest and largest palaces in the world and it is one of the few palaces that have preserved its splendor.

Topkapi Palace is located in Sultanahmet area overlooking the Bosphorus Strait and the Sea of ​​Marmara, which is distinguished by its treasures of the Ottoman Empire and its magnificent wooden garden. With a fountain that attracts everyone’s attention, it is called the Fountain of Sultan Ahmed III, which was built during his reign, and it combined the greatness of the Ottoman style with European Rococo art.

 The fountain is outside the palace gate in a courtyard, topped by five domes, reaching the weapons yard that separates the high gate and the central door

There were several doors in the palace, many of which did not remain. The most famous of them was the luxurious Humayun Gate, which was known as the High Gate, located on the opposite side of Sultan Ahmed near the Aya Sofia. This section has witnessed many historical incidents

By entering the palace gate, the outer courtyard draws the attention of visitors with its high decoration and beautiful lake. Visitors arrive at the first hall  that known as the tiles of the Janissaries. On the left is the Byzantine Church. The middle gate, which is called the Gate of Peace, takes you to the second hall in which state affairs were managed. Only the Sultan and his mother were allowed to enter it on horseback. The most characteristic of this gate is its large area and its luxurious construction style, where it is located on its right the palace kitchen, to the left of it the State Council Hall, which contains a golden wall behind on it there are golden hours

As for the Harem section, it is located under the tower of justice where the Sultan’s wives and his family reside. The palace also contains hundreds of rooms and halls, which need a lot of time to see and meditate on its engineering. There are also many wings such as the Sultan’s Testament suite , and the suite  of the Sultan’s mother and her maids in addition to the Diwan and several of suites for maidservants, a suite for museum, a suite for soldiers, guards and servants. One of the halls :


 the halls of the holy places that Sultan Mehmed AL-Fatih ordered to establish and contain the dress of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, placed inside a gold box engraved with Quranic verses. There is also the prophetic sheriff flag and the message of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to the Coptic King of the Copts. The suite also includes 21 swords from the swords of the companions and the Alkhulifa Alrashidin , including two swords of the Messenger Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him. And There is the seal of the Prophet, part of his teeth, and hair from his beard, peace and blessings be upon him, in addition to dust brought from the shrine of the Prophet.   and there are some secretariats for the Kaaba, such as the keys of the Kaaba, its locks, and the gutters of the Kaaba in addition to the black stone wallet, and among the collectibles is a bowl that is said to belong to the Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and stick prophet Moses, peace be upon him, and a stone against him following the honorable foot, prophetic carpet, and Joseph’s shirt And it was stoned upon it the Prophet's footprint , the Prophet's carpet, and the shirt of Yusuf, peace be upon him
